Terms and Conditions Swiss Ski- und Snowboardschool Riederalp
(Hereinafter named Ski School Riederalp)
General
Unless agreed otherwise, our Terms and Conditions apply to all services to be provided by the Riederalp Ski School for the benefit of legal or natural persons.
Courses can be booked by phone, electronically, online or in the ski school office. Booked courses are considered binding. The Riederalp Ski School only guarantees performance if payment has been made in advance.
Accident insurance
The Riederalp Ski School rejects any liability for accidents that occur before, during or after lessons and competitions. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
Group lessons
Group lessons take place starting from 4 people upwards. If the required minimum number of course participants is not reached, we reserve the right to merge groups or shorten courses or cancel them at short notice or convert them to private lessons. Tariff differences to private lessons will be offset. Due to the flexible organization, it is possible that we may change teachers. In the event of late arrival or early termination of the activity, there is no right for a refund.
Private lessons
One private lesson ski and snowboard includes 2 hours or 2,5 hours, cross-country skiing lessons include 1½ hours. The lesson can be extended in advance. In the event of late arrival or early termination of the activity, there is no right to a refund.
Cancellation conditions
A booking must be canceled in writing or in person at the Riederalp ski school office. The following conditions apply to the cancellation of a booking:
Cancellation 3 days before course start : 10% handling fee
Cancellation 2 days before course start : 20% handling fee
Cancellation 1 day before course start : 20% handling fee
Cancellation on the day the course starts : no reimbursement
Postponing and changig booked courses must be made at least 1 day (24 hours) in advance. Unused course tickets will not be refunded.
Refund
Courses that cannot be attended or only partially attended as a result of an accident or illness will be reimbursed in full or in part in the form of a voucher upon presentation of a local doctor's note. The tariff per day serves as the basis for calculation. Each lesson started will be billed in full. Lessons take place in all weather conditions, except when the cable cars and lifts are shut down due to the weather. Weather-related restrictions, bad weather, danger of avalanches, waiting times at the cable cars / lifts do not entitle you to any reimbursement, rebooking or any kind of compensation. The Riederalp Ski School reserves the right to adapt the program or individual services to the weather conditions.
Course bookings / tickets
The booked course or the course ticket is personal and non-transferable. The use of the lifts and cable cars is not included in the tickets for the Riederalp ski school. The Riederalp Ski School does not provide any compensation for lessons that are lost due to the failure of the cable cars and lifts. The use of the conveyor belts and the Pinocchio small ski lift in the Snowgarden is free of charge for course participants at the Riederalp Ski School during lessons. Outside of lessons, the usual tariffs for entry to the Snowgarden apply.
Rates
All tariffs indicated are in Swiss Francs.
Photographic material
During the group lessons, individual, group and race photos are taken by our partner Expert Foto Walter, Grächen. These can be viewed in the ski school office and purchased for a fee. These photos will not be used for any other purpose without the explicit consent of the person(s) depicted.
Furthermore, the Riederalp Ski School reserves the right to create and publish photo and video material of events, activities, terrain & infrastructure in which people are also depicted, but are not individually in focus.
If you do not want any photo or film material of you or your relatives to be used by the Riederalp Ski School or similar for marketing purposes, please let us know by email within a reasonable period of time; info@skischule-riederalp.ch with.
Online offer content
The Riederalp Ski School (hereinafter referred to as "Author") does not accept any liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information are fundamentally excluded, unless the author can be shown to have acted willfully or grossly negligent Is at fault.
All offers are non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, add to, or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.

Payment
Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. The domain in which you enter and process your payment is owned by TREKKSOFT and is operated by TREKKSOFT. Please send an email to support (at) payyo.ch for all inquiries about your credit card payments and chargebacks.
Data protection
Our data protection regulations form part of our general terms and conditions. They can be viewed in the ski school office or on our website www.skischule-riederalp.ch.
Choice of law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction for disputes is Brig.
Subject to tariff changes and misprints.
The contract language is German.
These Terms and Conditions have been written in German and English language of which only the German version shall be decisive.
